About Whitney
I know what it feels like to carry a business on your shoulders. Many of the leaders I work with built their success by filling every gap, solving every problem, and stepping in whenever things got tough. That strategy works for a while—but eventually it breaks. Instead of driving growth, it turns you into the bottleneck.
That’s why I founded Provoke Better: to help leaders step out of survival mode and into sustainable growth. My role is part advisor, part coach, and part challenger. I’m known as the “No Busyness Advisor” because I push leaders to replace endless hustle with clarity, accountability, and systems that actually work.
My background spans leadership and management consulting, team coaching, and marketing strategy. Before Provoke Better, I worked as a radio DJ, TV host (including a spot on Late Night with Conan O’Brien), and marketing director for a zoo. These roles taught me how to engage people, manage complexity, and stay calm when the lions roar.
Today, I serve on advisory boards for leadership and technology organizations, speak at business events, and contribute to books and podcasts on leadership, culture, and growth. My clients trust me as a leadership and management consultant who helps them build companies that thrive without burning out their best people—or themselves.
